Hello! I recently discovered that the FL250 is indeed supposed to have a tool kit. Looking at the diagram on Partzilla, there's an item called #27 ROPE, EMERGENCY STARTER 89101-950-000. Is this simply a replacement rope for the pull start? Confused as to what EMERGENCY means, in terms of rope. Attachment: MjA0MjcyMw-2c2d9d9f.png [ 186.33 KiB | Viewed 930 times ] |

It was likely an emergency rope to wrap around the clutch if your normal pull start broke. Some sleds I've bought have one in the toolkit with a plastic hook that hooks into a hole in the clutch. I always carry one in my 670 pilot and have used it quite a few times with dead batteries. |

There is a rubber strap on the metal seat back that sort of bungies it to itself. It's a similar design to the old Honda 3-wheeler tool kit locations if that helps. |

I found one of these in the stock location on one of the FL250's i saved a while ago. I put the tool bag off to the side in case i ever needed it. I always figured you'd have to be pretty desperate to do any field repairs with what they gave you. |
