Cylinder installed today and done my pressure test, Engine held 6psi for 30 mins so I done my compression test with the Engine cold.

Gettin just short of 150psi cold so I'm very happy with this.


How much does it normally rise by once the rings bed in and it's tested warm?

Davo,for what it's worth,I have done about half a dozen rebuilds in as many years,and never really noticed any PSI gains over the virgin start.
I too was always expecting the first Compression tests to be lower than Post run-in, but nay!
