Thanks Bull, I lurk around and add my 2 cents when I feel it applies. Not need much a lot of knowledge on the boards.

I don't have any good picks on this computer and the Odyssey is out at our vacation house. So I will have to take some good pictures this weekend and post them on Monday.

It really wasn't that much work all said and done. Really the biggest issue I had to deal with was the intake, that cost my wife a couple of tows back to camp and me few redos until I figured out the Predator intake would work.

I think the quad cost me $2000, I had to buy some steel for Engine mounts, the intake and cooling fan. So less then $2200 total and I had a lot of the quad to sell off to make some of that up.

You need to match the RPM if you want the same top speed without a gearing change.

A 4 stroke Engine only makes a POWER STROKE every other rotation of the crank shaft a 2 stroke Engine makes a POWER STROKE every rotation of the crank shaft

A 2 stroke turning 7000 RPM is making two times as many power strokes as a 4 stroke Engine is at 7000 RPM

2 stroke 7000 RPM = 7000 power strokes
4 stroke 7000 RPM = 3500 power strokes

If you have an twin 4 stroke with the crank 180 out will it make the same power? Or not?
