after thinking about it ive decided not to do it its just to much work i think im going to stick to my canadian bomabrdier ds650 i probably would have not finished it anyways and there would be one less origanal odyssey fl350.

maybe in the future ill buy one and stick a 400ex motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) in it with out streching the frame.

and i seriously doubt the ody would be able to handle the power of the cbr motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) long term and parts are getting really hard to find so i will have to see.

there is nothing wrong with modifying, as long as you can weld good, if you machine a coupler for every part you butt, and weld good, it probbaly will be stronger than a factory piece of tubing. try to put the butts were a diagonal brace comes in as well, and don't butt weld a tube if the whole piece can be replaced easily.

and for sprocket gearing, the best for a bike Engine is about 7:1, it will top about 90 mph, and go 0-60 faster than you can shift. :-)

just my opinion, and yes i am currently building a mc powered car from ground up!! :-)

this is how i would mod that car. tho i would rebuild the chassis all together, with some tubing that had a wall to it, i think that car is like .o58 tubing, and regardless of what some say dom tubing is the only way to go, no erw. and also use the oddy parts for drive etc.

tig weld is the best way, tho mig is fine, i wig welded my car, but my car is 1.250 x .120 wall, if you have to buy a machine to modify, why not start from ground up and build one favorable to a bike Engine. and in reality, i wouldn't modify a oddy or pilot to fit a bike Engine, i would use a rx1 snow Engine and convert to fuel injection with the r1 electrics and throttle bodies. just my opinion, and i said before that there is nothing wrong with modifying an oddy, i have to change my statement, oddy and pilot frames are built very cheap, thin wall tubing etc, it wouldn't be favorable to start cutting and welding anywere on the machine. :-)
