I am thinking of using the pre-mix to clean out the tank, and haven't decided yet if I want to coat it yet? Couldn't you just remove the petcock and wouldn't the pickup come out with it??? I nhaven't found a detail of the tank insides anywhere...

pick up tube does not come out , you have to rod it out if you do the kreem

also with the kreem you still have to clean the tank really well, so you could just clean and rinse it and see if it improves, I can not stress the super good rinsing part enough, one speck is all it needs to block a jet

i would do the nuts in the tank , BUT first get the gas fumes out of there, diesel or kero or something else that fumes do9n't explode, set dryer on no heat, wrap well in heavy blankets or soemthing and toss in dryer, i doubt you could run it too long but i would say at least an hour

When you say rod it out After kreem is installed, I take a wire and stick it through the two ports under the petcock???
Thanks for the help, the tank is soaking over night...

Well I thank you for your patience... (blonde hair and all) I got a good look at the inside of the tank and went and put the kreem in today. I used an air hose to keep the pick up tubes cleared It is drying now. Anyone else doing this PLEASE do this outside with a good breeze. The fumes were strong!!!
I am not sure now though if I have a reserve option in my tank... The two tubes are about 3 inches apart in the fluid level. I gues when the petcock is turned to reserve the fuel flows from lower fitting??? whuch is still about 1.5 inches from the bottom...
