When doing the mod to stop up the hole in the crankcase on the stator side (right Side) has anyone ever tried to close the hole up by using JB Weld? I am about to do this to my FL350 and was just wondering. The Engine is still in the frame and running but I like the mod. Any help or opinions would be helpful...

i am sure that JB weld would work just fine, however if you ever decide to un-do the mod then it will not be as simple as unscrewing a machine screw with some gasket maker /silicone on it. I would just use the screw with some silicone. Been proven to work and is simple.
