Hey everyone,

I finally have my fl250 put back together. I am curious if there are any winter break in concerns. Is it a good idea? Is there anything I need to do differently?

You help is very appreciated.

Thank You,

Oddy_Fever

Allow longer time for the Engine to warm up, yours all stock? I would follow check the
jetting for sure...

What temps you going to be riding in?

hoser,

I don't think I will be riding in any temps colder than +20 F. Everything is stock except for a full rebuild on the Engine. It was bored .020 over.

Do you have a suggestion on what jet to start with.

I can wait until the snow clears to break it in, but I would love to get it going now if possible.

I forget what the service manual says for jetting in the cold weather, they have a
chart or table, I would follow it or at least fatten everything up, lower the clip
on the needle and go up on the main jet, you will want to verify your jetting also...

Thanks for the help. We are expecting warmer temps next week, maybe I will be able to get out on the weekend. It has been a long process.
