So I can get my odyssey to crank with a good spark plug almost every time. But once I run her hard and turn her off she won't start, then I pull the plug and clean her good. Sometimes I dump some carb cleaner in the carb slide hole to get her to run.
But it's a bitch to have an take the plug out constantly
I'm running 30:1 valveolin but that's a older plug also,
In not sure what is causing it, I think the crankcase is flooding out and hooping the plug up, I have rebuilt the motors seals, but that's it.

Any suggestion is appreciated and thanks

have you ever pulled apart your carb and check your jetting?

when it runs it goes to full throttle right?

just fixin Odyssey that was having a problem that the driven clutch was stuck shut it would only go to 1 / 4 throttle if you gave it anything past that it would just flood out and die

I have put a carb kit in it and I live at sea level which should be good with the stock jet unless I need a bigger one from wear?
The throttle is fine, when she is running god she idles at 1500rpm.
Mine just doesn't restart all the time.

Also this thing is eating my belts, the old cheap one tends to work the best even with teeth missing.
