So I've got my rear driven apart and am trying to ID it

It looks to have a stock helix/cam and what I am guessing are the 90D shieves

The cam/helix is a two piece pressed assembly with six (6) bolts that are 6 X 1.00 metric thread, and it is different looking than any 90D pictures I can find on line

It was strange to me because I was trying to figure why Comet would have used metric threads on this part

The outer fixed shieve have a sticker on it that reads 301826C Nov 2000

This buggy was DOA when I got it, so I can't tell what it was like

Has anyone seen this kind of setup? Is it going to have issues

And yes, rust clean up is on tap

Yours is probably the same as mine I used on my 440 Pilot its a comet replacement for the FL350 driven or a 90D viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3007

More pics viewtopic.php?f=28&t=3024

Mine has the same sticker just the printing is worn off.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2052

Also used on the FL250 just a different shaft size viewtopic.php?f=1&t=9579

Those are actually some of the photos I referenced

Your fixed helix/cam is different (you'd have to look at the back, or look at the casting inside to notice) yours most likely doesn't have bolts holding a metal back plate in, yours is probably solid alum
