My TRIPLE EEE rear caliper is locked up. Is there a rebuild kit available or a replacement made? Anybody have ideas?

HA, I was hoping you guys were because I did not have my phone with me to take some. I might have a spare here in the extra parts bins, if so I will snap a picture and post it here. I do think there are some guys here on the forum that are familiar with the Triple EEE cars and parts, but I could be mistaken. :-)

I looked in my extra parts bin, no caliper but plenty of spare pistons and o rings in there plus old tags for purchased calipers.Do not have a clue if the places are still in bis but will call them anyway this week.

Some of the ones I have seen have CNC calipers on them I would start with them.

Thanks. Do you have any idea where they are based out of state wise?

Try a place called pacific customs, they are in California near rusty I believe. They sell all of the CNC brand parts. Last I checked the calipers complete where under 100$. I didn't recall seeing rebuild kits, but that was 3-4 months ago, and I have a pretty foggy memory since my accident. A picture of it would help narrow it down. http://www.cncbrakes.com/

Probably dealers on the east coast but this was closest to me.
I'm doing ok Hoser. I will be on rehab a couple more weeks then looking at a minimum of 6 months of outpatient and home therapy. Let me know whèn the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) is done and I will send you the funds to ship it.

Thanks for the help! I was able to work on this caliper today and I freed it up no problem. It was as simple as pie. Here is a picture of the caliper:

The caliper splits into 2 pieces with the mounting bolts acting as the actual holders.

The left side just holds the 1 pad, which is held in by a small screw located in the center, that's it.

right side holds the actual piston and same as left the pad with screw holding it in. The piston actually goes through the housing and has a small nub on the exterior which helps immensely in freeing it when stuck. In this picture you can see it in the middle of the housing:

After a spraying of PB Blaster and a small c-clamp it freed up easily, I drained the old fluid out of it, took both bleeder screws out and cleaned them and assembled it back together, I had a set of pads here in the parts bin but need to replace them. You can also see a part number in this picture that is the only number I could find on it:

Here is a picture of tags included with the Triple EEE front and rear brakes. If you look closely you can see part numbers for the rear caliper, company name where the previous owner had purchased.

If you are going to run this machine, then switch the caliper over to something that is common such as a wilwood. Makes life much easier as far as pads and rebuild kits go. The old one off/limited production stuff is a pain to deal with and nobody knows or wants to know nothing about it.

The piston is tiny and I would like to upgrade to a newer version, but then I did want to keep it the machines profile as stock as it was during the years it was raced. I am guessing it will depend on the company AIRHEART INC,if they have an updated model I might go to it.

Looks like the 175H rear caliper is the 1 I currently have here after checking the number I have here. I am happy these are still made as I prefer to use as original OEM as possible.

Most of the stadium lites all had different components through out. There really was no one OEM type part for brakes, suspension ,radiators etc. Much of it was left up to the end buyer to set it up his way. Some briggs cars for example had suzuki front brakes while others had none. Some used a wilwood rear caliper others used the cnc.

oh okay thank you for the information. I think that if I cannot purchase a new caliper from Earhart I will upgrade to a different style or make.
