Okay, so I could swear my FL350 had dowels over some of the studs at the crankcase to head studs

I even have a photo of the crankcase before disassembly

But I don't see where in the shop manuals or parts diagrams that they exist

Are there supposed to be locating dowels?

Thanks,

Something like this you can always go look at the parts diagram if they need them they will be listed.
http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/H ... parts.html

You kinda lost me with your description, the cylinder has them where it mates to the crank case but not where the top of the cylinder mates to the head.

Thanks Hoser, but this is the schematic that got me confused

Cylinder studs , item #24

I don't see any dowels in the schematics

But I just combed through the owners manual, and now see them on page 6-0

There are two (2) on one side of the cylinder only

We're good now

Thanks,

Yeah I know what you mean them diagrams can be confusing glad you have it all sorted out now, life is much better and easier that we can zoom in on the diagrams years ago it was even worse.

What is it your doing ?

If you need any 350 rebuilding tips just ask plenty of 350 gurus here to help.

I'm getting off my ass and rebuilding the 350 I bought because now that I bought a pilot, I don't want to keep getting out of the pilot to let everyone joy ride
