I sent my rear shocks back to Axis and had them rebuilt for me at 185lbs. Guy was really helpful but wasn't sure on spring rates for the Pilots. Anyone got advice on Spring rates for the cadilac ride :-) I had new ones put on at ATVR but I don't believe they are anywhere close... 125/150s ANYONE?????
Thanks in advance,
Tadrad.

we went with 95lbs (top spring) over 150lbs (bottom spring) works well we ran it in GNCC races and at Glamis it has a nice ride.

I am running 100/100 on my LT pilot and they are still too stiff for me at 160lbs. I need to send them into Axis to be serviced and revalved one day when I hit the Megamillions.

Pilotman

P.S. FL670R - whatcha you running on yours?

Hey Pilotman, call Axis for a quote. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the rears revalved, re everything and don't remember without looking but it was way cheaper than I thought it would be. Just hope I get the spring rates correct

Thanks afastcar, that's about my weight. Do you recommend any particular spring brand?

if i was racing I always run Hypercoils or AFCO, but since the pilot is just a toy I went with what ever Summit racing sells cheaper and delivered right to your door.

Still running the ATVR setup - AKA Stiff as HELL I believe its 125/150
(I was always going to drop the 125's down and get 90's but haven't yet)

I ride the Drak "ol blue" when I want a Cadillac ride...
I take the FL670R out to catch Big Air

He would have to use both hands, wake up and quite day dreaming. When Fl670 drive the drake, it's one hand on the wheel and one elbow hanging out the window like on a Sunday afternoon drive. I would bet he's even whistling dixie under the helment. I could just be jealous. That drake was ment to cruse and be smooth doing it. Just needs a gas guage.

LOL - "whistling dixie"

I really don't need a gas gauge as ol blue just sips the fuel
Most likely others will be on vapor before my 3.5 gallon tank is half empty

Yea I figured I be better off keeping the Drak more ground based...
(I've never actually jumped it - I'm not sure how it would hold up - It an't no honda)

Kinda like you don't take a Corvette off roads...

:-) blue: :-)

Yes I did sir. All shocks were completely rebuilt and am currently running 125's over 100's. That Pilot is actually going to be for sale here shortly, that's according to head of human resources here at mission control :-)
I just spent 3 days at Glamis in my Drakart Tornado Hyabusa, had the most amazing time in the dunes... Just loving it :-) !!!

Afraid not. Am running our first gen attempt at controls, all working well but we need to improve on them... Had no camera and planned on keeping things under wraps until after I got to run in the dunes and felt comfortable piloting the Busa Drak with all hand controls. It went better than expected and we road for total of seven hours on Saturday between two outings. The Drak is the dogs balls!!! Pictures will appear sometime soon. So glad I skipped the Wild Cat and went to the Drakart! :-) :-) :-)
