well I have a dilema. I just bought a fl 250 frame kinda. it has a rear axle that has u joints outboard of the frame. it has double shocks at the rear and the stock shocks in front. the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) is a mystery. It has a water cooled cylinder jacket, I have never seen anything like it. The head has part of the fins removed on the transmission side . it is running a mikuni carb (flat) . It looks like a 81-84 frame but it is not a 250. ANY IDEAS on how to identify the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? ))?

The Engine is custom you can see where they welded up the cases to
graft on that cylinder and head, if I had it in front of me and apart I might be able to
identify it, right now who knows, from what I see the rear suspension looks
sort of like the challenger I had.

Can you roll it outside in the sun and take more pictures?

Looks like it spend a lot of time setting outside!

Does it run?

Just looking at it, if the ODY were mine I would remove the Engine and go over the
whole thing before starting the Engine, who knows what is inside, I am sure the whole
ODY needs a good going over, I bet the inside of the whole fuel system needs
some attention.

If it has rear suspension you might have a diamond in the rough, plenty of
250 Engine parts to be found cheap, even if you end up with 1500 bux into
your machine when done that is a inexpensive ATV.... and the fun V.S. cost
is high

Seen my Challenger page?

Hey people.
just click the same link as before as I have added more pics
No , I haven't seen your challenger page yet hoser. Is it on the same site as this. I am just a little curious as to what type of Engine this is as it only has one spark plug hole and I was under the impression that they had two. although what do i know. LOL !!! I do not plan on trying to start this baby anytime soon. hell, I am still trying to get the wifes 250 and my 350 running right. but I love em , what a joy to pass your time pulling your hair out trying to figure out why they won't fire and trying to get the float level set. :-)

Looks like a challenger to me, get yourself a can of PB Blaster and start spraying everything
now so some day it might come apart...

That will be a nice car once restored.
