identify that one its probably not worth fixing.

The cases are from an FL250, but it looks like it's been welded up to accept a Bultaco (maybe) cylinder and head, possibly an old Yamaha, late 60's early 70's I'd say.

The shape definitely reminds me of the old Bultaco or even Husky heads.

Looks like a motoplat stator. They were pretty big back in the racing days of the late 60's and 70's. It may have been adapted to fit the FL case or was available as a performance mod.

I've seen motoplat coils on 250's several times, but have never seen a stator exactly like that one.

I have seen motoplat on a 250 that looked something close to that,
light weight flywheel low rotating mass, you like that dome design,
no squish ban!

Time to focus on the chassis I would strip it down and clean it up, see what
damage that rust has done, the shocks look junk and probably are the shafts
look rusted, fronts look like FL250 fronts rears who knows all kinds of ATV
shocks on ebay...

already in the process of stripping it down to the bare frame and getting ready to inspect and replace all weak area's before I send if off to be sand blasted and painted. gonna buy me a small sand blaster to clean up small stuff myself. will keep taking pic's as the project progresses.
You Guys are a life saver as far as having someone who has been there and done that I can fall back and punt to. Really appreciate it.
Tim :-)
