Post subject: it is getting better!

Ok check it out, if you don't recall I had problems with fuel because of the 3 way check valve missing.
I would also like to add that I am severly disabled and have little to no income to speak of so that is the reason for some of my shortcuts!
so with that said here is my latest shortcut! LOL
I put a vacuum "T" in the line and used a small hose clamp to put the squeeze on the 'return' line until the carb stayed full and it was no longer over flowing out the carb. First time out this thing needed a few tweaks on the carb until it ran good. Now it will flat haul, it tops out almost right away (within 500 feet I should say) And runs in the neighborhood of 50MPH (I am guessing of course, but every little bump in the yard gets me some air!) It has a lot more low end snap and it would run even faster if I had more yard and working brakes! LOL (not to meantion a better clutch), my pads have worn down and all I have is my parking brake right now.
here is my latest problem.... It runs best of an evening (Cooler air temp) but when it warms up real good it will stop running with more than 1/2 throttle like it is out of gas. I am fearing loss of vacuum to the fuel pump.
This thing has become very fun to ride now and would like to know if anyone has any more input on my latest problem?

Just spend the 11-12 bux through servicehonda.com for the check valve.....

When you increase rpms the vacuum increases too, so it's doubtful that going past 1/2 throttle would reduce your fuel pressure, it may force more fuel past your makeshift restriction though at just the time that you need more flow to the carb too......

Cavemanhands,
I have a good 3 way valve for an Odysset that I will give you. I have it just sitting around, so if you can use it I would love for you to have it.

Please send me your address and I'll put it in the mail for you. I'm happy to help if this will solve your problem. You can send me an email at lniemela@narrowcastcorp.com if you don't want to post your address on the board.
