Here are some pics of the bump steer kit Hauss built.
All the bump steer kits I have seen didnt make them turn easier they
made them turn harder because of all the extra pivot points or
"friction" as some like to call it then when you get the slightest wear in
all the components the steering gets sloppy and wanders, I have
found that if your having 'bump steer' problems it is most likely due
to the wrong front rim offset, the bump steer is just a band aid not
a cure.
IMO the rim offset problem is because Honda and after market rim
manufactures interpret the way you measure the offset different, if I was
going to order after market replacement rims for the front of my Pilot
I would send them one of my old rims so they got the off set right.
Ask harescrambles about having the wrong offset on a rough trail think
he has scars from the steering being ripped from his hands I didnt have
any problems going down the same trail..
I don't have bump steer problems with my 2+ arms (adjusted out to about +2.5")
I just lenghten the stock tie rods
http://pilotodyssey.com/LTfront2.htm I see
no reason to make my steering more complex and add things that can fail
or wear out in the future.
