What machine you working on?

In general anytime you get the luxury of finding a bearing that is worn and
has not failed change it out, most of the time wheel bearings on ATV's fail big
without much warning, balls fall out or one of the races breaks, I have seen all
kinds of damage to brake drums and shoes and bearing holders because of bad
bearings feel lucky you found them bad before they failed and did damage.

I removed and replaced mine with a hammer and punch, make sure you don't damage the alumn casing when knocking out the bearing,I bought mine new bearings and seals from Service Honda, they were the cheapest if my memory serves me.I also lightly sanded the surface area where the bearing goes into the hub to remove any debris, burrs and reinstalled.

lifetime warranty sounds like a deal too bad you don't have thr part numbers...

Sooner or later you will need to replace them again.

Now you got me wondering, what is the difference in those bearings from a 6006U to a 6007?I may try a supersearch, I remember a posting on crank bearings that mentioned something about this very thing.
