Well I got the beast back from Odyssey salvage and of course hes out of town now. LOL Sooo what kinda radiator will a CX500 radiator work. I was looking at banshees but they seem kinda big. I remeber randy saying half a Gold Wing Radiator but I like the look of the CX. I also saw some nice 125 Halfs that looked good.

I use a gold wing radiator.
The whole thing.

Cut the inlet a bit to extend for ease of filling.

Fits nicely on the rear diagonal riser above the air box.
Long wide swooping 1" heater hose reduced at WCH to fit.
I've found the extra length has been good for warming my fingers up
riding in NOV in PA. :) soo much fun that was. (even being the slow boy)

Mounted a catch can with it. I got a quart sized can. A pint size would have been better.

I have been running a Honda CX500 radiator on my 350 for several years with no problems. Fed changed from whatever he had to a CX500 also. I like the mounting holes and the spots to add a fan if you want. I have not needed a fan much yet and our machines are highly modified). I got mine on Ebay for $5 and Fed got his there for $10. I made some nice home-made brackets that have held up real well(including the double end over end roll). I can post some pictures if you want. Gary

Oldie but goodie thread. Yeah I blew it up sent the top end back and now am waiting on my second head gasket since I put the beast on backwards. Its running nice and fat though and has good compression. I was just cycling it in the garage. Also went with a digitron exhuast temp guage and tach. Radiator fits perfect. Remember I put a fire wall on after toasting my neck LOL.
