Does anyone out there have an up close photo of a broken u joint ??
I want to see what a failure looks like. At one time there was a lot of chatter on this site about this issue. I want to see what EXACTLY what breaks on the u joint.

I have a bunch of spare axle parts that are on their way/out or whatever. What happens from what I can tell if the needle bearings get all crud and rust from lack of lubrication. From there the axle may still hold up well but eventually the U-Joint will start to wear down, and then cap as well. When it gets too sloppy the cap can start to crack or split. That's about all the info I have as I don't know what happens after that other than more slack and then major damage.
