How do you check to see if the T-valve is working properly on the Pilot?

Never give it much thought but I guess you would hold your finger over the outlet to the carb then gently blow into the fuel in side and see if it releases pressure out the bypass tube then release your finger off the carb side to see if it blows that direction again, repeat a bunch of times.

Guess this valve could become fouled with dirt and varnish inside like a carb and malfunction .

Further thoughts I never messed with one does it even have the same spring loaded check valve thing inside or just create a fuel log affect?

It's just a 3 way joint not a check valve if I remember correctly.

The 3 way joint on the Pilot does not have a check valve in it like the 350 does. If I remember right there is a check valve in the fitting on the top of the fuel tank where the large hose connects.
