Just took a front shock apart on my brothers oddy. The seal was leaking bad and I got a couple of shocks from B.S so this one will be sacrificed. Here are the pics. Lots of them and the notes and pics are self explanatory. In my opinion this shock could be rebuilt if you could get a top seal. The problem is when you take the nut off of the bottom of the shaft it takes off the threads on the shaft but not completely. Just the last two threads. You will also note that I tried to take the top eye off of the shaft. That was dumb because it is just welded on. If I had just ground off the weld at the bottom of the shock and removed the shaft nut I could have rebuilt this shock if I could get a seal and knew how much oil to put back in.

If anyone needs or wants another specific photo then open your yap and let me know here.
I will post asap but in a couple of days I will be putting it in a box and won't want to dig it out again.
There was a sticker on the shock with some sort of part number.
It said SHOWA vmo-003.

UPDATE: I have tried to find the top seal online but it appears aliens dropped a few off and Honda used them on the fl350.

Check with Parker Seals or A smaller outfit called Zatkoff Seals. You may have to special order. May have to buy a dozen or two to make it worth it.

Measure the metal parts where the seal fits, the ID of the tube is 36mm? The OD of the shaft is 12mm?

Looking at your measurments I am guessing the seal is 36 x 12 x 12 so start searching https://www.google.com/search?q=36+x+12 ... channel=sb

Try searching the other way https://www.google.com/search?q=12+x+12 ... channel=sb

Then their is http://www.skf.com/group/products/seals ... index.html

Thanks for the help but B.S sent me some shocks and a bottom end Engine.
I am going to put this shock thing on hold for now as I am in the middle of repairing my brothers machine. He smashed the right front wheel into the frame and bent it up.
In my opinion the shock is easily rebuildable if you can find a seal.

That was strange. My comments were put into your comments when I used your quote.
