These babies seem to be discontinued. Forward and reverse.

Besides getting lucky and finding a good used set,
is there any way to create one or repair one?

The housing seems fine, the top cable snapped near the shifter.
So it was stuck in reverse until I switched in manually on top of the tranny.

Been tough shifting lately, especially in reverse,
so I'd guess the shifting fork (and possibly other things) needs replacement.
Anything else that I'll need inside the tranny discontinued?

Just trying to evaluate. I can have one Ody in need of Engine work
and one in need of tranny work, or one that has it all and a partsmobile on the side.
I'm spending tomorrow putting the best of each into one rig.
I hope a 12-pack is enough.

Of course, waiting for a call back but only for a used one.

There must be a way to repair/relace the cable...

16 hours later and everything is switched over, started the first time, guess I put everything together right.

Now I have one well-equipped 350 and one in need of a frame weld, motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) work, tranny work, brake work, clutch work and various parts and cables, hehe. But the wheels look great.
