looking on ebay for new parts, and i came across this

did the 250 even have front brakes?

no. they are probably form another application that used the same set of pads on the front that the odyssey uses on the rear caliper.

Yeah, I tried to tell him last year, but he just quoted me what his brake supplier's book says.....

It's a good price for two complete sets of rears though......

Some of the early CB series bikes use the same pads and since they are less in demand (at least on eBay) you can get a better price.
