I have a project FL250 someone gave me a year ago. I took it apart and am now putting it back together. Any suggestions on installating a highback plastic seat. I got one from Summit Racing and am not to sure of best way to install

I think I would weld some brackets together and weld to the frame. Whatever it takes to make it work.

An easy way to do it is to mount a alum. or steel plate to the bottom of the frame, just bolt it on. Then bolt the seat to the plate. It is wise to put your old heat sheild on the back of the poly seat to help protect it. If you don't have the old seat heat sheild then mount another flat plate onto the back of the seat leaving about a half inch gap.

Have fun riding.
