After cracking the frame at last falls ECJ, I thought the winter was a good time to go through the Ody. Well after some delays, she's back on track and actually moves under her own power again. Now I just need to put the finishing touches on and tune the new 38mm flat slide.

Question though - Since I've had the ody, my rear tires have towed out (front of the rear tires point away from the frame). I atributted it the bent frame. This frame is straight and they are both still towed out a few degrees. I've taken all the adjustment out the trailing arm and it didn't make a lick of difference. Any thoughts??

Heres a few pics of the project and the rear shot where you can see the tire stance issue. Thanks guys!

Even though the barbed wire isn't there as of yet, I think we all the scars in the palms of our hands from pushing it around.

Brooks.....I think your trailing arms are bent. I bought a basket case oddy that suffered from the same ailment. You can heat them with a torch and straighten them but it takes a while to heat it cherry red on all sides.....not to mention what it does to the metal. Without a nice straight arm to compare to it will be a hit and miss task.

Shelby looks good......have you been to track this year?

Went to the track and was disappointed. I couldn't launch. Best was 12.9@114. Best so far is 12.6@112. Need some slicks i guess...

Thanks for the info on the arms.

I have seen a few bent 350 arms they are usually actually straighten out a bit and need
the arc bent back into them, usually you can drill a 1/2" hole on the inside and put a
1/2" rod in the hole to push on the outside whilst supporting the ends in a press this
will rebend them where they need to be, its best to use known to be straight arms as
a guide, compare them by looking down the spot welded seam and compare the arc
on the seam...
