I was going through my youtube videos and ran across this one of the recorded gauge readings on a Digatron whilst melting a piston on my old converted CR500 Pilot Engine. When I got the Pilot I had lots of trouble getting my jetting set just right, typical from what I have read about some ATV Racing ported jugs. Anyhow I didnt realize just how bad it was until poofkaboom. After the poofkaboom and rebuild I did plug chops at quarter throttle, half, and full, I had to run rather rich through most of the spectrum to keep the plug brown during full throttle and the egt's from running away at full throttle. Anyhow after doing a port map a member here said porting was not the best. Loong story so enjoy the vid

Cylinder head temp upper left
EGT upper right
MPH lower left
RPM lower right

Lost compression a 12:40

Just going through some of the posts I missed.
In the pic of the piston ---- that's detonation. Shitty octane fuel.
Just my opinion.

Lets see if that other genius chimes in.
