Just curious but would an automotive coil like the excel super coil work on an oddy ?? Anyone ever try this ?? The reason I ask is because the oddy ignition spark seems pathetically weak to me. My machines do run but I would like a stronger spark. Anyone in the house with electrical experience ??

Get a feel for what others are doing on similar systems by searching the web, TRX250R weak spark or CR250 weak spark.. Change it up search for a replacement coil or Weak coil or include replacement coil in your search, I am willing to bet you will find the best solution.

MOST weak spark problems I have solved were corroded wiring or connections.
