Hi all,

Lookin for some new meats for the back of my FL400. I usually ride in sandy dirt, but something that would also function decent in the dunes. What's a good all around tire?

Was looking at the Carlisle 489s. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks!

Hello, the ITP Mud Lite is a great tire for traction all around. The only thing I do not like about them is the side walls are thin, if you get a flat you can not ride it out the side wall will fall apart, where as the oem tire or something with a thick sidewall can be ridden flat with out damaging the tire in most cases.

Here is a link to the mud lites, I did not search for the best price. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pair-2-ITP-Mud- ... oz&vxp=mtr

I hope this helps, good luck.

Thanks! I had a set of those on my FL350 when I got it and both were always leaking and flat. The possible need to ride out is kind of important so I will keep researching.
