So I'm looking in to getting a water cooled head for my fl350. So all i need is a head, a rad, and a pump? if so what is required for installation? do you just plop the head on there and ride?

Lol well that is a simple explanation but very accurate. Yeah plop the head on and ride.
Look at other installs here on the site. Head - rad - hoses - pump - some wires to a switch - ride.

Yes.
Head gasket may have a leak and then poofkaboom.
Anytime you do anything like that to an Engine you pressure test -- it's not that tough -- and it's fun.
