I need some info on the 94c if anyone knows it. I have a spare 94c that I need to re-shim for the wider oddy belt. I need to shim it out at least 1/8" from where it is at right now. What I am looking for is the thread on the main tube that threads into the stationary shiv (the one closest to the Engine).
Is it left hand thread or right hand ??

I tried to remove it already with no luck. Also used heat because I am sure they use Loctite. Was wondering if I was turning it the wrong way if it is a left hand thread.
Thanks in advance.

I did spend a lot of time online and on this site looking for that info and never found it. It's like no one has ever torn down a 94c completely to re-shim it. Several videos on you tube about tearing down a 102c though. At this point I am just thinking comet wound not have changed the threads between the two units. If and when I do tear it apart I will post relevant info. This is also the clutch that I re-faced in the lathe because it had a deep worn groove on the shivs from the belt. Not sure but I think I did post that but can't find it right now.
On a side note, that first link you posted has a lot of pics of my machines and stuff I did in my shop LOL.
Love it.

I thought you were the info Guru

see item 2

oh here it is
Remove stem with crescent wrench or 11/.16" open-end wrench (when looking
down on stem, turn counter-clockwise to remove). This stem Was Loctited during
assembly; iF stem is too tight to remove otherwise, Fixed face may be placed between
two blocks of soft wood in a vise

"I thought you were the info Guru" ------ that sounds like a shot :-) :-)
Anyways thanks for the info. Your right. I actually have that pdf and never read that. It's actually a problem that I have -- I read stuff to fast and then don't totally comprehend what I just read. When I tried to take mine apart I thought it was possibly a left hand thread. It's real tight and I did heat it up, but never got it off, so just left it alone. It's good enough.
