In my opinion I would get rid of those lights. The oddy electrical system can not handle that kind of output. It's weak at the best. No mirrors so I would get some. I like those seat belts and that seat. Not seeing any kind of air box or filtration. You have after market rear wheels and the stock fronts so I think it will push like a pig. Turning on an oddy is bad and yours will be horrendous. They turn better with a square foot print and 1" front toe out.
You have no wrist restraints so I would get a set because that is a broken arm waiting to happen. Trust me on that one because I had a huge crash a couple of years ago and the G forces were tremendous. Words would not do it justice. My brother also had a few big crashes. Tip overs are easy and common.

Looks like original fuel filter ??
Doesn't look like it has ever been rolled. Roof lid looks good but more telling is the top cage, no sign of a roll over because main hoop is straight. It usually bends right where the front bar is welded to it at the half way up mark.

1) Stock Salsbury clutch -- you better pull that apart. I bet it has worn arms, rollers or slides
2) Make sure you verify the flow rate on the pump after rebuild
3) Suggest you run good octane fuel -- has DG exhaust, non stock muffler and I wonder what else, since you are going to run it in the desert
4) Good luck finding an original filter. I don't think they make them anymore do they ??
5) Check the screens inside the fuel tank for any pluggage

Just my opinions

Wheel spacers tell me they had a lot of trouble to turn that pig with those wide offset rear rims, so they put spacers in to try to make up for it.

Hey all, Got the Odyssey fever back. Having a couple FL250's in the past, I found a local to me FL350 and couldn't pass it up. It's a non-runner with no spark, but I am sure with the expertise of this forum, she will live again. Here is my list of things to check on an oddy when you are doing an Engine job or bought one. 1) Fuel - your fuel pump must put out about 4.5 oz/ten seconds approx and your fuel must meet minimum octane rating in manual. I run straight avgas or you can mix it 50/50 with pump fuel. 2) Do the vent modification - use the search box above. 3) Check your stock intake manifold - they're 30yrs old and crack just looking at them. 4) Check your reeds, they must seal or you could get low compression reading on your gauge. Make sure your gauge is accurate. 5) Engine must pass pressure AND vacuum test - if it doesn't don't even start it, find the leak. I use 10psi max pressure and 10in vacuum in my tests and it must hold for half hour minimum. 6) Rebuild the starter, it is a big job after the Engine is in the machine. 7) Gas tank - if it's rusty inside get it cleaned and coated at a rad shop. If you look inside with a flashlight and it looks like the pickup tubes are rusted I would tap the tank drain plug and draw fuel from there. Both my machines are like that now. 8) Original fuel pump and vacuum lines are junk now after 30yrs so replace them. 9) Remove the drive shafts and make sure the u joints are good. 10) Check the wheel bearings. 11) Over fill the transmission -- put two quarts of oil in it. It's a splash lube system and the driven shaft bearing don't get any lube unless you are driving so don't rev it in the driveway all day long 12) Adjust your brakes - I set them (F & R) so I can feel a bit of drag. 13) If doing an Engine rebuild do NOT use the paper base gasket as it blows out. Must use the metal one. 14) Must build shock savers. Use the search box above. 15) Replace the rear springs with 155lbs units. Yes, airbox is on the table next to my fenders as is the tube that connects to the top air intake. That is a great list of things to do, I appreciate the post. Got the FL350 for $700. Did I do good

Yeah, making my list now. Gonna go with a Honda OEM one since I can't find that Napa one anywhere. All lines are getting replaced for sure.

Cleaned up the carb inside and out. Installed new drain lines too. Used my wire wheel brush to remove all the rust off the DG Exhaust. It will get header flat black painted tomorrow. Removed the fuel tank and emptied the old gas. Previous owner said it's about 2 years old. I believe him, it wasn't that bad. No rust in the tank too, score! Going to rebuild the starter and fuel pump with the winderosa kit. Got a (hopefully good) used CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) coming in as well as side mirrors. Going to go thru all the wiring and clean all connectors using deoxit, stuff works great! Not sure if I want to completely disassemble and paint as I kinda like the original patina look. I don't really want a garage queen. This is gonna get used in the desert. Just verified that both front and rear brakes don't work. Going to bleed them first. In the meantime, I put a master cylinder rebuild kit in my ebay cart.
