Any good ideas on how to get the cap off when the key won't turn anymore? My 350 has sat for over 15 years and besides everthing else, this is the one that stumps me. Its soaking in sea foam but that's all I came up with.

Try vacuum cleaner to suck out crap from key hole. Soak - vacuum - soak - vacuum - soak - vacuum.
Locksmith ??

Take tank out, turn upside down, flush with lube.

PB Blaster or WD40. Use the small red tube to shoot either lube down in the hole while lightly tapping the gas cap with a hammer. Lightly tap it. This is to shock some of the seized parts and to help work the oil through the assembly. May take a couple of days but repeat the process several times and it will loosen up.
The reason for using either of these oils is they have a very small molecular structure allowing them to penatrate deeper into tight tolerance areas.

I have a 86 trx 350 with a gas cap that looks to be the same but doesn't use a key. Think they are the same? I'll see I guess when this thing comes off. It just has a breather hose and a little knob you turn and then it pops up. I think I like it better.

A hammer and some goo gets the cap off! I also found a hole it the top and probably had water and snow going right in when it was stored outside. But really really rusty.
