Good pic in section 8-6 of the manual. Is the spring damaged in anyway ?? Looks like it hooks into the friction plate. You can get free pdf manual here: http://oddatv.com/fl250-fl350-factory-manuals/ |

thank you, I see now. the hole for the friction spring was so full of crud it wasn't until I completely disassemble it all and cleaned it, then I found it. |
