Anyone know about fl250 racing CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition)? how are they different from stock? are they better? are they just a timing advance?

I would PM Randman. He used to race those I believe. He might know. I think hoser used to race those as well but he is not answering anyone lately and has not made any comments on the board lately. He must be up to his butt in alligators so I would pass on any PM to him for the time being.

My guess is that it eliminated the rev limiter, but someone needs to answer that knows for sure.

Sorry I can't help :(

The class I used to race in was the stock ORCA class and modifications to any part of the Engine were a big no no. They were so strict that I even got popped for my polishing of the carb bore entrance!
