Wow! I didn't know 2 skid plates were used. I would use the top one also if I had it.

I have to ask, when the top skid plate is installed, does it protect both of the lower frame tubes?

I know that the bottom skid plate pictured does not, often the frame gets damaged on the tube that is not protected.

Well I have 2 Oddys and one had the top and the other had the bottom. I am making 1 really good one out of the 2 so-so machines.
I have some parts I will get rid of if anyone is interested.

Well I learn new stuff everyday about these machines.
I didn't know they had two different skid plates.
Interesting because they only made these machines for one year.
Thx for sharing.

Anyone care to share the last 6 digits of the serial number of the machines that had the top plate installed ??

I have three machines and they all had the bottom plate.
My machine numbers are: 105558 X , 107298 X , 102122

I am just trying to figure out when in the production they changed the plates.

My 350 is long gone so I cant supply the VIN,

The top plate did protect both lower frame tubes, brake rotor/caliper... and of course the bottom of the trans.

The skid is very much like the Pilot skid plate

The top one has far more protection as it covers the rear disc. But it does hold the mud and sand.
And a lower profile means more rear clearance.

I would like another one.
