Yes I have and even videoed it. I do wet and dry cranking compression reading. I factor in rotation speed into the equations. I even pull vacume reading when doing it. Ody may be a little different than pilot. You should do some testing for fun. I found it interesting.

So the million dollar question is -- how did you do it ??
How do you get a reading and on what is it hooked to ??

I did do a vacuum pull on my brothers machine and mine. The vacuum changes with the mods done. I saw that on our machines.

This is an old thread but want to bring it back to life for a moment.
I don't remember why I wanted to know what rpm the starter spins the Engine but I just found out.
I had to test my machine by running it down the street because of installing my homemade pucks in a 94c clutch. I had a tach hooked up to the coil wire. While I was cranking it the tach showed approx 450 rpm and then the machine started up.
