Post subject:  Powerbloc or Comet 102c?

for a pilot looks like I have 2 options, Powerbloc or Comet.
I currently have a Powerbloc but it is worn out, it has worked well for several years lately the sheaves are warn and it no longer shifts the belt to the top, wanted to get some opinions from people who have had them and what you think and what setup works for you.
I believe with the powerbloc I am using 11 or 12 disks in each puck, I have a mostly stock pilot, pipe and airbox mod and run in the sand exclusively.

If you run the Comet, would you recommend and what setup do you use? I guess the changeables are springs and weights

Just my opinion here, but can't you just face the clutch in the lathe ??
I have done it to a 94c.

You can see that its worn?

If you place a straight edge against the face you can see the low spot?

Mine are worn, but still work.

the sheaves are too thin, you can't face them

these are quite worn, the top portion are basically parallel. you can feel it, you can see it without putting a straight edge on it and I have used a marker as a go/nogo gage to see if the belt was shifting all the way up, it's nogo

I plan on using a 102-C with a heel clicker kit, the only problem is ordering the right set up. You can buy the kit direct from the manufacturer but you have to know what set up you need. Does anybody have experience using a heel clicker kit with a 102-C?
