Sorry for the lack in updates on my oddy rebuild. But thanks to help from you guys ive finaly got my 350 up and running! Yeyy :D But its still only got a compression of about 105psi And due to my inexperience in jetting it doesnt wanna idle or hit high revs very well but that's a minor problem. I decided before i fool around with it anymore i wanted to go ahead and bore it to 80mm So i called around to a bunch of shops and finally got a guy who would take it and then he said something that really caught my attention, he asked why i wanted it bored and i told him the rings were worn, he proceded to put me on hold and when he came back he said he had a box of rebuild kits for the stock 78mm bore including a few ring sets. Said hes had them for 30 years so hes not totally sure if they are all the right size so this week im going to bring my Engine in and were gonna put them on and see whats what. But man that really suprised me... id be the most lucky dude ever if i can save a few $ on boring it over

I am not home right now so it is tough for me to do this on the phone.
My question is are you sure your gauge is accurate and are you holding full throttle while doing it? ?
Also be sure you have the right rings. The stock 78mm ones are tapered.
Make sure this guy isn't a "mechanic" like the last two.
