SO, I bought some oils from my Amsoil guy and got to talking about mudding. He recommended I try a new product formulated to help wash up dirt bikes, atvs, utvs, and any other offload vehicle - new from Amsoil, called MudSlinger. Its meant as a pre-apply spray-on 'wax' that's applied when the vehicle is clean; and then after riding its easy to clean off mud/dirt/snow off simply with water at house pressures. Since I have 3x dirt toys, I bought 3x cans. They run about $8~$11.

I’ve had good luck with WD-40. I’ve also tried Pledge and it worked well.
