Hey Guys,
I never seen an Owner's manual for the Fl400R for sale, are they available? Does anybody have the part #?
Thanks
Erwin.

On the back of the one I have it has part numbers you might try to order one
31HEO600

Below that
OOX31-HEO-6000

This is for the 89 you might also look for the part number for the 90

I could have told you that without even going to their site and looking, you gotta take the
numbers to what ever dealer you would be ordering the manual from and tell them to
order you one, when they tell you its "discontinued" tell them to "order it any ways"

NOW this don't mean your getting a new manual but it increases your chances of getting
one more than a few fast clicks at service honda page, Mike123 was told his Pilot
steering stem was "discontinued" then a few weeks later they called
him and told him his new steering shaft is in.

Thanks for the tip I will do that. I did order something from service Honda what I was told that was not available anymore in the hope it will show up somehow. I recently received a new shoulder pad what I was told a year ago they where not available anymore. So go figure.

You would think with todays inventory control, computers and all that crapola they
could tell you in seconds how many and where they are located in the system,
I sure don't get it heh.

You would think so, if I remember right Honda dealers can sell parts back to Honda America once a year if they did not sell the parts, this would explain that some parts come available again. The only draw back about the Odyssey’s and Pilot’s is that parts will be less and less available unfortunately. Other then that they are lots of fun.

If Honda is like FOrd then this is true. I sold ford parts for years..and once a year we could sell a certain percentage of our inventory back to ford, it was called PIPP parts inventory protection plan. It allowed dealers to get rid of non moving stock to keep moving stock on hand...always wondered where those parts went.
