Randman inspired me to make this kit & I never even thought about the pilot as I did not own a pilot when I made this kit.

I asked Derek for a price on a full set of works shocks for the pilot but haven't heard back yet on a price. The last order is 2 weeks late as it is.

I just went and looked at my pilot and the rear shock setup is much different than the Fl350. I'll figure something out! :-)

Bought these from a member awhile back, no problems and lets me run the longer air shock

Yes,I had bought a set of those from a member and installed on another pilot that I don't have anymore, and pretty sure when I bought mine it was his last set and he wasn't making them anymore. It would be nice to still have that option out there.I can't justify putting more money into my Pilot right now when the weather{((Bad Word)) rain all the time}and job prevent me from riding that much.I think I got to ride the Pilot 4 times last yr,and I'm in Texas!! where I should have good weather most of the time

looks like you have to cut the fender and drill holes for the bracket?

I agree that you would have to modify the existing shock mount and the fender, by the looks of it. If willing to do so they look like a good easy alternative for a shock replacement.

From what I remember I’m pretty sure I didn’t have to modify the stock shock mount, but you might have to cut some of the fender away

Well I take that back,it’s possible that you might have to drill extra hole on stock bracket, but that was no big deal.
Looks like it was member DC who was making them

Upon doing some searching I found my thread on the Fox setup, looks like I had bought and installed Fox shocks on 2 different Pilots,my memory sucks  :-)
I was able to install my brackets without cutting fenders,at least on one of my Pilots.
Here's the thread

I have to say that the Curtis kit looks very high quality.
It definitely don't look like northern skillbilly stuff, like I make.
Curtis -- tell your machine shop -- "nice job".

They did a great job for me on these and I am very grateful they helped me produce these bushings. They made them off a sketch I drew up with measurements. Made one of each, I test fit, made some changes, they made another, until I was satisfied. It's is a small employee owned machine shop. Three guys and they work hard and are good at what they do. They fit this in for me on the side of their mass production work. I will let them know next time I see them. They have made other parts for me since this kit was made. They always ask about the buggys, I would love to let them take one for a spin sometime. :-)

Curtis, this kit would also work as hardware for Works shocks, correct?

His kit is the mounting kit for the works shocks with a few changes so you would NOT be able to use it to mount Works shocks.

1.) He includes the larger 1/2" diameter upper shock mount bolt for the Fox Air 2.0's.
2.) He includes a reducer to use within the frame. This is because the Fox 2.0's have a larger ID upper shock Heim joint which requires the aforementioned 1/2" diameter bolt.

If you purchase the entire FL350 Works shocks as a kit, you will not need his hardware mounting kit. All of the mounting hardware comes with the works shocks (if purchased from Works as a kit).

Just as a side note, the Works Mounting kit also comes with 2 small special aluminum spacers to be used on the lower shock mount which Curtis' kit does not have (see attached works mounting instructions link below).

Thanks for clarifying. Just curious, don't need a set.

BUMP! I am also surprised to not see any reviews yet but hey it took me this long to get to it too lol
Ive had them on for a while but got my first looong ride in with them today, and let me say... WOW
Running the oddy on the stock shocks was painful to say the least, but the fox airs are just a massive improvement, 3 hours in the seat today and im not sore, the ride is greatly improved. Its just a huge upgrade, andmaybe its just cuz i like little features like this put the abilty to change stiffness is great, make it jelly soft for rocky trails and when you get to a dirt packed road, in 5 mins you can pump it up a few psi to keep it flatter whippin corners, i love that. if its in your budget just do it lol

The problem with the shocks is that they don't fit without modding your oddy and im not a mechanically skilled guy, if it wernt for this kit i probably wouldn't have been able to do the swap, so in summary this kit is top quality, its rock solid and fits easy enough for even me to install it, so far no weird wear, flex or anything like that. Its simple and it works, good work! Thanks!

I'd take one, just in case Worx is among the COVID-19 small business casualties

I sure hope not though....

Stay healthy (and away from each other) folks!

Funny you should say that because I made the shock kit when works shocks went out of business and us FL350 owners had no choice for replacements. Some were already using the fox 2.0 with great success. I had these bushings machined and made them available to others for easy install. Worx shocks is back in business but there seems to still be some demand for the Fox. They are both great shocks in my opinion and serve their purpose.
