Hello all! Just bought a 1989 Pilot. I was just wondering what the stator output is in amps? Are there upgrades available? I replaced all the lights from the p.o. and I do not know if I am overloading the system.

Welcome new guy.

You have come at a bad time. We currently have a spammer on the site and we are waiting for the administrator (hoser) to delete the fag.

To answer your question the 89' pilot has a 200 watt system. The two headlights use 50 watts and the tail light uses another 5 watts approx and the steering wheel lights use another 17 watts if they were all on. That's at 5000 rpm. Total is 72 watts and then you need juice to charge the battery and run the ignition. In short the system on the pilot and the oddy are weak at best. If you are gona run lights then run LED.
Just my opinion.

Do you have a manual ??
If not I can email you one if you PM (private message) me your email. Or you can post it here but at this time I would not do that. If you click on my name there will be a button there that says PM.
You will have to go to the "active topics" tab and click on it. Then click on any name highlighted in blue to see that PM button.
Tip: you can click on anything highlighted in blue to get more info on it.

The site has been very very slow the last couple of years.
Many senior members no longer posting or have left.

Tremendous amount of info on this site.
Anything you want to know is here. Use the search box above to find what you want.
Searching for info:
The best way to find something here is to use the search box above.
In the search box type ONE word ONLY and hit enter. If you don't you will get to many hits.
When the list of threads comes up there will be another search box there on the right.
In that box type ONE word ONLY. Keep doing this as many times as you want until you have narrowed it down. Some common words will be ignored like "Engine" "Honda" etc.

Best time to come to this site is around 5-6am and 7-10pm west coast time.
That's when most guys are on here. Usually only about 15 or 20 guys.

Sounds great I appreciate all of the good info! I did replace the lighting with LED's im just affaid I have too much draw.. The Digatron keeps flashing low batt and when I measure volts at the batter they are roughly 11.8 after running everything cruising around for about half an hour.
