For almost a week I have been trying to remove the clutch on the input of the odyssey trans. And it will not come off. I have soaked it with pb blaster drilled and tapped the holes and used a steering wheel puller with no luck. I put a torch to it and more penetrating oil still no luck. I finally broke down in desperation and attempted to make a relief cut on the clutch itself and filled with penetrating oil. Another couple days with no more luck I did what I knew I shouldn’t and threw it in the press, it finally moved about a half inch but now won’t budge, and of course I put a small crack in the cover. I’m out of ideas and patience...do I have any options besides a new input shaft and transmission cover?

You will need a new trans case half unless you can welded/repair the crack. I had stress cracks in one of mine and was able to repair it.

You can replace the input shaft once you open up the trans for the above referenced repair. To open the trans you will need to remove the driven clutch.... Cut the clutch off???? Cut the input shaft if you plan on replacing it anyhow???

Good used trans will run you around $250 and you'll likely need a new driven clutch $200
