Hello!

I recently discovered that the FL250 is indeed supposed to have a tool kit.

Looking at the diagram on Partzilla, there's an item called #27 ROPE, EMERGENCY STARTER
89101-950-000.

Is this simply a replacement rope for the pull start? Confused as to what EMERGENCY means, in terms of rope.

It was likely an emergency rope to wrap around the clutch if your normal pull start broke. Some sleds I've bought have one in the toolkit with a plastic hook that hooks into a hole in the clutch. I always carry one in my 670 pilot and have used it quite a few times with dead batteries.

There is a rubber strap on the metal seat back that sort of bungies it to itself. It's a similar design to the old Honda 3-wheeler tool kit locations if that helps.

I found one of these in the stock location on one of the FL250's i saved a while ago. I put the tool bag off to the side in case i ever needed it. I always figured you'd have to be pretty desperate to do any field repairs with what they gave you.
