I have a fl350 that all in all is in good shape except the gearbox is shot. i was hoping to get this beast back up and running but don't want to go through the trouble of rebuilding the box with it just to go out again as this is the third time it has been done are there any other options i love this machine and would love to bring it back to life.

I have not seen anyone do a replacement gearbox here but I might be wrong on that.
Even if you do find another gearbox by a different manufacturer it's gona cost.
Also you will most likely have to do a lot of fab work. I say that because Honda uses Honda splines and they're not like other machines so your axels will most likely not fit. Then you have to fab new mounts.
This is not going to be an easy project in my opinion.
RPM makes a gearbox you can check them out here: http://www.rpmgearboxes.com/
As you can tell it's a totally different axel drive.

EDIT: In my opinion I would go to fagbook, craiglist or other media to find a used gearbox. This would be the easiest and fastest solution.

You say this is the third time it has been done. Please elaborate. These gearboxes last for ever if you treat them right. So what is it that you're doing that's causing failure ?? Explain please. Also what is failing ??
The reason I am asking is because you can NOT land an oddy off a jump and keep the power on.
You also can NOT rev the pizz out of it in the driveway doing a "tune up". The oddy gearbox is a splash lube system so that means it gets NO OIL unless you are moving. If you do a driveway tune up you will blow the AB gear bearing and then it's all over because you can't get those parts.
