Since the flavor of the week seems to be tachs right now, here is the place to get custom tachs for the oddy or pilot.
https://www.speedhut.com/gauges/Tachome ... y=prodname
You can customize these for what ever you like.
Base price is $130 usa. This allows you several options at no additional cost.
You will notice that there is no red line markings. I would have to call to find out.
Have not called these guys yet but I think I will soon.
Would like to see what my oddy is running at and also it would help greatly with clutching set ups. That's something I'm playing with at the moment.

I just contacted these guys by email to see if they could replicate this tach.
Told them that it does not have to be "exact" just close.
Also told them I want the red line at 8000 rpm and not 7500.
Should get a reply on Monday.

That would be awesome if they can make one look similar. I would buy one for sure.

I would be in for one if they could make it read a 670 rotax!

I meant the tach that looks like the Hondaline tach, but if it would read the RPM of the twin cylinder rotax. I'm not sure how these speedhut gauges read their RPM signal. I've had trouble using anything but the factory skidoo tach in the past.

Well unfortunately that didn't work out for me.
I contacted customer support and jumped through all the hoops.
Finally managed to click all the right buttons.
I get to the end and want to pay for two tachs. The bill was close to $500 usa by the time it was all done. This included custom graphics (honda line graphics), international shipping, the rip off Fedex fees blah blah blah. I wanted to pay but the shipping address only showed USA ?? Then I noticed that it said ANY international shipping you must use PayPal. Well I don't have that shit. Don't even really know what the F that is, but I'm sure the kids do. Oh well.

If you have a credit card or a checking account you can open up a PayPal account in 10 minutes. It's a good thing to have for purchases, sending money, eBay, amazon.....etc.. They have have been around forever and is a trusted company. They even have purchase protection.

Speedhut is an awesome company with great products. We use their gauges to replace the factory 2005-06 Ford GT gauge cluster which are known to be problematic and ridiculousy expensive. Their speedos work off of GPS, so you can use them on pretty much anything.

I have a rotax tach on my 670, Nitro helped me get it working, it is good to have to help dial in your clutching but after that the clutch seems to control the RPM, mine kicks in at 4k and with throttle wide open the clutch seems to control the rpm at about 7700, I have to either come up with something to use to cover the back of the tach or just take it off when not working on the clutch.
FYI, the tach is odd to me that it just has 2 wires that come directly off the stator, I guess it runs off of AC frequency, Nitro explained that depending on how many coils on the stator that you need to match the tach to the Engine.
also it is lighted which was a pleasant surprise.
