Hi. had to replace my Exciter coil last year 2019 because of no spark cond, Bought a Emgo Exciter coil # 24-37800 from Ebay that looked Diff and the Pkg Print for FL250 showed to be for Honda FL250
My Odyssey is I Believe 1981 model year with CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition)
Installed it last year and Honda now starts and runs but sputters trying to accelerate the colis look different the one came off was black with terminal connection on end.
the emgo coil has a attachment lead at the center of coil and is pinkish colored anyone have ideas
Im thinking that the emgo is not the correct replacement or something else
Im just getting around to working on this again 2020

currently took the Carb off went through it didn't see any jets plugged cleaned it up, new fuel filter installed Napa auto parts barrel type, There is fuel returning in fuel tank observed with fuel cap off at fuel return pipe
the kart idles perfectly and throttle response is good but wont go over 15-20 mph

Update-Measured voltage output at CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) black/Red wire 7.67 volts Im assuming that it should be 12 volts and higher so
going after the Exciter /primer coil again hope I get a good one! From Ebay I guess...
