No idea what that gear is, but I bet Dan Roberto would. Congrats on your parts!

This might help,it's the gear that the selector hub engages with or rams into for F or R.

Also read this on AB gears and compare all of yours stacked against eachother. You might have the 2 diff teeth #'s? Diff topend speed?
I noticed this on my many trany rebuilds on various Odys over the years.
I also recommend drilling an extra 2 oiling feed holes on the AB gear plus if possible a gallery catchment/feed groove joining up the 4 holes.
This way it significantly draws in the available oil to all 4 holes instead of hoping it eventually gets there on 2 loners? Bigger Bullseye! :-)

Both me and hoser want to know that too.
Still haven't found out over all these years.
Hey Ridge can you do me a favour and mark your Input and Final drive shafts at 12 o'clock then turn the Input 1 full turn and see what # the Final turns are?

Ok so marked and turned in put shaft. 10 turns on input shaft gave 1 complete revolution on final shaft. Are these 10:1 reduction?
