I'm happy this forum is still running!
Remember me?
Maybe not, it's been three years my Ody is standing still, stored...
What a shame.

The last rider was my son, it was his first time in, and he had a real blast looking at the mud that was on after.
We were supposed to give it a wash the next day and setting it up for storage.

But for some reason... it never happened. Three years are gone now.
He's 20. Wants to ride Ody!

Needs a new battery.
Carb clean & air filter & gas lines.
Gas thank flush & clean. (I'm glad I think it was almost full when left)
Fresh high octane gas.

My Question!!!
Should I put something in my cylinder (maybe like storage oil, and cycling Engine manually etc...) before trying to start it?

After I know what to do, I think.
Heavy wash.
Grease.
Tire pressure etc.
Brakes & controls adjustment & cleaning.
Seat belts bolts check.

Buckle up.
Start the Engine.

Engage front drive.
Rev up.
Have a go!

The real question to me is ------- was it stored indoors ??
If indoors then I would just put some two cycle oil through the sparkplug hole and turn it over by hand.
If outdoors then it's a crap shoot.
I would pull the seat and pipe and look inside the cylinder from exhaust hole.
