Hey everyone. My 1990 Pilot started doing something funky yesterday. When I turn the key on the temp light, neutral light, and low fuel light all come on and only the neutral light goes off when put in gear. The temp light and low fuel light stay on. Any suggestions where to start looking for this electrical gremlin? The Pilot runs great so whatever it is it's not affecting the performance. Thanks in advance

Try unplugging the timer relay as it may have failed. AFAIK, the timer is only there to test the lights for about 5 seconds on then off. Its not a required component - IE everything will run and even light up correctly etc. The timer is there only to 'test' the dash lights when ignition first gets turned on. Without a timer, everything will still work but you will be less informed if one of the lights happens to actually burn out - but if the lights are working then you will still be informed of over-heat/fuel level/parking brake etc. I don't think timer relays are available anymore.

Thanks for the quick reply. Can you tell me where the timer relay is? Just saw your other post. That's behind the seat up top?

Correct. Between the ignition coil and the gas tank.

I pulled the wire off and put it back on and all is good!

which wire did you pull and replace? My lights will go on and off at times, pretty sure it is a bad connection, very annoying during a night ride
